Homecraft School

Homecraft School

The head of this school is Sr. Elizabeth Mackenzie. The school mainly aims at preparing standard seven leavers for their future life, whether in the way of raising families and or self-employment or being employed by others.

During their training period which covers two years they are taught good upbringing, tailoring, cookery, English, French, embroidery, nutrition, house economics, home nursing, house keeping etc all aimed at their future well being.

The school also runs an evening class to train people interested in tailoring and embroidery and this class has an excellent turnout. By using the school’s teachers and a few hired tailors during some occasions the department makes all the uniforms for our students and eligible staff and occasionally from outside as from the high court Judges, priests and alter boys, school uniforms.
